Filter by wardrobe role
Choose base silhouette when you need a dress, suit, top-and-bottom combination, or another piece that defines most of the outline. Choose structure for skirts, sleeves, coats, corsets, belts, or layers that reshape the avatar. Choose theme anchor for a prop, hat, bag, wings, tail, instrument, or other distinctive clue. Choose finish for shoes, jewelry, hair, makeup, nails, pattern, and material.
This filter prevents a common mistake: buying or hunting a striking anchor while the outfit lacks a coherent base. Under a timer, establish the base first, then search for the missing role.

Read availability correctly
“Owned” means the account has the item. “Obtainable” means a new eligible account can complete the route now. “Visible” means the item appears somewhere in the current interface. These states can differ. An old collaboration reward may remain owned but not obtainable. A reworked item may be owned but temporarily difficult to find. An update display may be visible but gated by VIP, currency, or another requirement.
Use status labels such as Current standard, Current VIP, Current Cash, Current seasonal, Owned-only, Ended route, Returned, or Needs current-server check. Avoid the vague word “available” without stating for whom and through which route.
Verify toggles and compatibility
Equip the item on the body or base you use. Open customization and count only toggles that are visible in the current interface. Test each toggle with no other layers, then with the planned outfit. Record whether colors or patterns apply to separate channels and whether the item changes held position.
For a useful entry, note clipping at the shoulders, waist, hands, legs, hair, and props. Body support can improve after a rework, so an old “not compatible” note should have a date. Likewise, one working screenshot does not prove every toggle works on every body.
Find an item in the interface
If the item is a free room piece, follow the physical category and nearby station. If it is Cash, seasonal, Robux, code, reward, rank, collaboration, or old event content, search the Dressing Booth or collection tabs first. Use the item name and set family. Reopen the panel after loading finishes if thumbnails are blank.
If the source guide points to a location that no longer exists, do not keep circling the old room. Check current collection organization and update notes. A moved item should keep one identity record with a new source note rather than becoming a duplicate entry.
Choose a substitute
When an item is unavailable, preserve its function. Replace a full VIP gown with a free dress plus a volume skirt. Replace a limited prop with a bag or accessory that signals the same activity. Replace a specific historical item with the correct silhouette, hair, gloves, and palette. Replace a rare material with color contrast and pattern.
